PRODUCE 101 JAPAN is Japan’s largest-scale idol survival audition program.

Since its first season in 2019, the show has sparked an audition boom across Japan, 

producing a total of three seasons to date 

has created top Japanese idol groups JO1, INI, and ME:I!

The fourth season of PRODUCE 101 JAPAN – SHINSEKAI (New World) – is here.

For the first time in the show’s history, global fans will be able to watch and vote together.

・　Boys who dream of debuting in a global boy group

・　No restrictions on nationality, experience, or special skills

・　Male applicants who are 15 years old or older as of February 1, 2026

  (If the applicant is a minor, parental or legal guardian consent is required.)

・　Must be eligible to travel internationally

◆ Exclusive KCON LA On-Site Audition Schedule & Venue

・　Dates: Friday, August 1 – Sunday, August 3 (3-day event)

・　Time: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (PST)

・　Venue: LA Convention Center, West Hall, Room 510

・　Application Period: Friday, July 17 – Tuesday, July 29, 11:59:59 PM (PST)

・　How to Apply:

   1. Visit produce101.jp

   2. Fill out the audition form 

     and make sure to include “Applying for Exclusive KCON On-Site LA Audition” 

     in the self-introduction section.

   3. Upload the required photos and video clips.

・　Applicants selected for the audition through pre-registration will be contacted individually 

   via email by July 30.

※ If you applied but were not selected and did not receive a reply, you can still participate through On-site registration. Please see below for details.

◆ [On-site registration] How to Apply

・　Dates: Friday, August 1 – Sunday, August 3 (3-day event)

・　Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (PST)

・　How to Register:

  1. Visit Audition Room (Room 510, West Hall, LA Convention Center.)

  2. Scan the QR code displayed on-site.

  3. Fill out the On-site application form that appears after scanning.

    (Information required: Name / Phone Number / Email / Preferred Audition Time)

  4. After submitting the form, please check the email or message from our staff 

    with your assigned audition time.

  5. Arrive at your assigned audition time and join the audition as guided by our staff.

Note: On-site registration will be accepted in the order of arrival.

If all slots are filled, you may be scheduled for an online audition via ZOOM later.

We recommend arriving early to secure an on-site audition.

◆ Screening Details 

・　 Vocal, dance, or rap (one or more) + interview

・　Please prepare a performance under 1 minute, using either a cappella 

   or music of your choice.

   (If the music you wish to use is available on YouTube, we can play it for you on-site.

   If you need the music to start from a specific part, please note the exact starting time 

   in advance.)

◆ How to Get to the Exclusive KCON LA On-Site Audition Room

・　Upon entering the LA Convention Center, you will pass through a security checkpoint 

   (metal detector and bag inspection).

・　After that, you may enter the building freely.

   (No ticket or pass is required to access the West Hall lobby and the audition area.)
