NOVA1（ノヴァワン）NOVAは新星という意味で、世界的に革命をもたらすようなグループになってほしいから！！

“We are the core of a new universe.” この言葉を抱え、世界のCOREとなるグループになるという意味を込めた。また、デビューする12人とファンが“1”つとなって新しい世界(新世界)を作り出す。その新世界を作るCOREである12人が唯一無二で、頂点を目指す存在になるグループになるよう考えました。新世界だからこそのグループ名だと思います。

新世界　new world 日プ4度目の開催なので　four から文字って。 単純で恐縮ですが、ニューワーフォーみたいな読み方も可愛くて覚えやすいかなと。

XII ＝ ローマ数字で12 NOVA ＝新星、爆発的に輝く星 「12人の新星」 「12の輝く存在」 「世界を変える12人のスター」 “NOVA”は天文学だと「急激に明るく輝く星」の意味なので「新星12人が突然現れて世界を変える存在」になってほしいという願いを込めて。

スピカという星は成長、実り、未来のニュアンスがあります。 日プで培った実力、努力 それが実り、未来に繋げていく Iを1に変えて12人が1つになる意味も込めてます。

“NEW” + “NEXUS（繋がり）” → 「新しい世界と人を繋ぐ」 デビューする12人が新しい世界に飛び立ってその世界で出会う人と人を繋いで欲しいから

LIEN(リアン)はフランス語で<繋がり>と言う意味です。 新世界のコンセプトに合った“国や言語を超えて繋がる”という意味合いや、“メンバーとファンを結ぶ”という意味合いがありすごくいいと思ったから。

I: Referring to the members. The word I can also be pronounced as Ai (愛) which means love. Hoping that people will love the group. People can also read it as l (1). Means the group is the first page of a new chapter. Semicolons (;): it is used to take a break between sentences while keeping them connected. We hope that the members and the fans can be connected even when we're taking a break. SKY: The word SKY has quite the same pronunciation as Sekai. Making it known that this group came from Produce 101 Shinsekai. The sky always changes yet able to present a beautiful scenery to those who gaze upon it. Means the group is able to change and present amazing concepts towards viewers. Whether it's like the sunny summer sky or the dark night sky. Sky also means that members could soar up high without anything limiting it just like how the sky is limitless. No matter where you are, the sky is always giving you company.
