Application Guidelines
Eligibility
- ・Open to all nationalities.
- ・Male applicants who are 15 years old or older as of February 1, 2026 shall be eligible for entry.
- ・Both self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted.
- ・Any levels of experience in vocals, dance, or rap are welcomed! No experience necessary.
- ・Applicants must not be currently affiliated with or under contract (exclusive or training, etc.) with any other production company or agency.
- ・Applicants must have no issues appearing in web content, television broadcast, or other forms of media during the audition process. Applicants must agree to the use of their image or video materials.
- ・Applicants must be able to participate in all training camps and recordings (scheduled in Japan and abroad) held between January and June 2026 upon being selected.
・Details of the training camp and recording schedule will be provided to those who pass the initial screening. - ・If the applicant is a minor, parental or legal guardian consent is required.

Notes
- ・There is no participation fee.
- ・All costs related to application and screening process such as mailing documents, phone calls, and data usage fees, are the applicant’s responsibility.
- ・Recording or filming during the audition or interview is strictly prohibited.
- ・Video footages and other media recorded or filmed during the audition process may be used on multiple official media platforms related to this audition, including websites, television, and magazines.
- ・Sharing any details about the audition process or results on all social media platforms (X, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or any other internet-based communication apps or video-sharing sites) is strictly prohibited.
- ・The organizers are not responsible for any accidents or issues related to this audition, except in cases caused by their own negligence.
- ・Any inquiries regarding screening results will not be responded. Thank you for your understanding.

Application Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions outline the eligibility requirements and conditions for applying to PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SHINSEKAI (hereinafter referred to as “the Audition”). All applicants must carefully read and agree to these terms before applying.
- Article 1 (About the Audition)
- This Audition is operated by LAPONE Entertainment Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”).
- Article 2 (Application)

- 1. Applications to the Audition may be submitted either through self-nomination (where the applicant applies to become a participant) or third-party nomination (where a third party recommends someone to be a participant).
- 2. There are no fees for applying or being screened for the Audition. However, applicants are responsible for any mailing costs if supplemental materials are needed, transportation to and from the audition venue, and data communication fees incurred during the application process.
- 3. By submitting an application, the applicant is deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
- 4. In the case of third-party nominations, the nominator must obtain the prior consent of the person they are recommending. The Company may request documentation confirming such consent.
- Article 3 (Eligibility)

- 1. Only those who meet all of the following conditions are eligible to participate
- Nationality is not a requirement.
- ● Males who have reached the age of 15 years as of 1 February 2026.
- ● At the time of application, the applicant must not be under an exclusive management, performance, or other entertainment-related contract with any talent agency, record company, or similar entity; and if accepted into the Audition, must be willing to sign such a contract with the Company or an affiliated agency or record label.
- ● The applicant must consent to their likeness and video footage being used in web, TV, or other media during the Audition process.
- ● The applicant must be able to attend domestic and international lessons (training camps) and recordings scheduled after passing the Audition.
- 2. If the participant is a minor at the time of application, they must obtain consent from their legal guardian to participate.
- 3. As the Company is not compliant with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applications from individuals residing within the EEA (the EU’s 28 member states, plus Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein) are not accepted.
- 1. Only those who meet all of the following conditions are eligible to participate
- Article 4 (Changes to Application Details)
- Applicants and participants must promptly notify the Company via the designated method if there are any changes to their submitted contact information, including phone numbers or email addresses.
- Article 5 (Loss of Eligibility)
- If any of the following conditions apply, the Company may immediately revoke a participant’s eligibility without prior notice:
- 1. False information was submitted in the application or subsequent communications.
- 2. The participant obstructs the operation of the Audition by any means.
- 3. The participant violates these Terms or any other rules or instructions set by the Company.
- 4. The participant is found to have committed criminal acts, illegal behavior, compliance violations, or other antisocial acts.
- 5. The participant is found to have ties to organized crime groups or other antisocial organizations.
- 6. The participant is unable to enter the host country due to immigration issues.
- 7. The Company determines for any reasonable reason that the individual is inappropriate as a participant.
- Article 6 (Notifications)

- 1. Results and notifications regarding the Audition will be communicated by the Company via email, website postings, or other appropriate methods.
- 2. If notified via email, the notification is considered complete when it reaches the email server associated with the address provided by the applicant.
- 3. If notified via website posting, the notification is considered complete once it is posted and accessible on the site.
- Article 7 (Changes to the Audition)

- 1. The Company reserves the right to change the Audition content at its discretion, and applicants/participants agree to such changes.
- 2. In the event of changes, participants will be promptly notified.
- Article 8 (Recording of the Audition)

- 1. The Company may film or record the Audition and store the resulting materials.
- 2. Participants agree in advance that such materials may be freely used by the Company or a third party designated by the Company via television, internet, DVDs, or any other media or format.
- Article 9 (Ownership of Rights)

- 1. All rights to submitted applications and related data belong to the Company.
- 2. All rights, including ownership and copyrights to footage recorded by the Company, belong to the Company or its designated third party.
- Article 10 (Use and Management of Personal Information)
- Personal information submitted by applicants and participants will be managed and used in accordance with the Company’s separate Privacy Policy, as established by the Yoshimoto Kogyo Group.
- Article 11 (Prohibited Conduct)

- 1. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- ● Infringement or potential infringement of the property rights, privacy, or trade secrets of other participants, third parties, or the Company.
- ● Infringement or potential infringement of copyrights or other rights held by other participants, third parties, or the Company.
- ● Defamation or slander of other participants, third parties, or the Company.
- ● Conduct against public order and morals.
- ● Criminal acts, illegal conduct, compliance violations, or antisocial behavior.
- ● Election campaigning, political or religious activities, or any actions that disrupt the Audition process.
- ● Any other actions the Company deems inappropriate.
- 2. Participants represent and warrant that they have not committed any acts falling under item 5 above prior to their participation.
- 3. Participants must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country where the Audition is held.
- 4. Participants must strictly maintain confidentiality regarding all matters related to the Audition—such as schedules, locations, contents, or events—during and after its conclusion. This includes refraining from sharing any information verbally or through email, communication apps (including LINE), video platforms (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, SHOWROOM, 17LIVE), social media (e.g., blogs, X, Instagram, Facebook), or any other medium.
- 5. Participants must not disclose any non-public personal or private information obtained through participation, including that of the Company, talents, other participants, or stakeholders. They must also refrain from slandering any such individuals.
- 6. Participants may not mention, imply, or include any reference to passing any rounds (e.g., document screening, secondary or tertiary auditions) in personal or professional contexts such as resumes or public profiles.
- 7. Applicants and participants represent and warrant that they are not affiliated with or involved in any antisocial forces, including organized crime groups, sub-groups, or related entities.
- 1. The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Article 12 (Suspension or Cancellation)

- 1. The Company may suspend or cancel part or all of the Audition in the following cases:
- ● Inability to proceed due to natural disasters or other emergencies.
- ● When the Company deems it necessary for operational reasons.
- 2. In such cases, the Company will notify applicants or participants by an appropriate method in advance, except in emergencies or unavoidable circumstances.
- 1. The Company may suspend or cancel part or all of the Audition in the following cases:
- Article 13 (Effective Date)
- These Terms come into effect on July 17, 2025.
- Article 14 (Disclaimer)

- 1. Except where the Company is legally at fault, it shall not be held liable for any damage incurred by applicants, participants, or third parties due to changes, suspensions, or cancellations of the Audition.
- 2. If any dispute arises between participants and others in connection with the Audition, they must promptly notify the Company.
- 3. The Company is not responsible for any software, hardware, or communication issues related to the use of the website or online interviews.
- Article 15 (Jurisdictional Court)

- 1. In the event of disputes related to the Audition, the parties shall make good faith efforts to resolve the matter through discussion.
- 2.If unresolved, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreed court of first instance.

Regarding the Handling of Personal Information

- LAPONE Entertainment Inc. will appropriately collect and manage personal information in accordance with our group privacy policy.

- Regardless of the provisions stated in Section 5 “Purpose of Use of Personal Information” in the above privacy policy, the personal information you provide will only be used for the operation and screening of this audition and for communication with applicants. It will not be used for any other purposes.
- ③Joint Use
- "Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 10 “Joint Use” in the above privacy policy, the personal information obtained will be jointly used within the scope outlined below.
Items of personal information to be jointly used: name, address, place of birth, nationality, date of birth, height, email address, phone number, facial photo, video, social media account, occupation or school, background, self-PR, name of guardian, and guardian's phone number
