He is a member of CHEMISTRY, one of Japan’s most celebrated vocal duos, and has long been highly acclaimed for his exceptional vocal ability and expressive power.
Selected from approximately 20,000 applicants nationwide through TV Tokyo’s audition program “ASAYAN Super Danshi Audition,” he formed CHEMISTRY with Dōchin Yoshikuni. Their debut single in 2001, “PIECES OF A DREAM,” made a powerful impact on the music industry and firmly established them as a nationally recognized duo.
In October 2020, he launched his own management office as part of his solo career, expanding his activities by releasing solo works and opening a YouTube channel, among other endeavors that showcased his multifaceted talents. With the release of his solo album “ONE WEEK” on October 3, 2025, he once again demonstrated the depth of his artistry and his mature sensibility as a vocalist.
