PRODUCE 101 JAPAN is
 Japan’s largest-scale idol survival audition program.
Since its first season in 2019, the show has sparked an audition boom across Japan,
producing a total of three seasons to date.

Out of 101 trainees dreaming of debut, the final debut group is determined

solely by 100% viewer votes.
Through this program, Japan’s top-tier idol groups
​
—JO1, INI, and ME:I—have been born.

The fourth season,
 PRODUCE 101 JAPAN – SHINSEKAI,
expands the show's universe beyond Japan to the entire world.
​
For the first time in PRODUCE 101 JAPAN history,
applications are open to boys regardless of nationality or place of residence.
Global broadcasting and international fan voting will also be introduced for the very first time. The birth of the first global boy group produced from Japan by fans around the world!

We invite trainees from across the globe to take on this challenge,

 and we look forward to welcoming producers (viewers) worldwide
to join this journey into a new world.
